Its been forever and I apologize for it. I’ve been super busy with work which has left me so tired when I get home. I’ve been so busy that I haven’t even been wearing makeup…I know right! Yesterday was the first time that I’ve worn any eye makeup in 2 weeks and it felt so good and I must start playing around a little more. Be on the look out for more FOTD, FOTN and my random makeup postings!
What HAVE I been doing since my last post? I’ve had 2 different protective styles both sew-in tracks. The first was a bohemian curl that I work in a bob style cut, but it only lasted a couple of weeks which I knew would happen with that type of hair. I now have a Remy sew-in with straight hair that I wrap or curl, I love this hair and will post a picture soon. I’m still happy to be going natural, although when I took my last sew-in out I had a hard time detangling and got a little frustrated. I’m still hanging in there, but now I’m thinking I may BC after a year (which will be in August!) instead of transitioning the entire way. Be on the lookout for pictures soon!
Lastly, I attended CIAA this year for the first time and had a really good time, though I didn’t party much. I went with my cousin who lives in Raleigh and had a great time traveling with her. I think I will be attending next year as well. I have a couple of vacation planned and will be speaking of those as well. I have some good things going and can’t wait for the weather to break!
